GMS, Inc. staff compiled all of the preliminary surveying information and coordinated the subgrade geotechnical investigation of on-site materials. Our staff worked with MGA Structural Engineers, Inc. (MGA) in the structural design of the multi-building and concrete basin facility. The facility included water containing structures with wall thicknesses of up to two-feet in width and in excess of 20-feet deep. GMS, Inc. provided construction oversight including placement of structural steel and placement of concrete. GMS, Inc. was also tasked with providing inspection reports and certifying proper placement of steel and concrete for review and acceptance by the Pikes Peak Regional Building Department on their behalf.
